Centres – Arya Mithra Mundal – Reservoir Hills

Arya Mithra Mundal was established over fifty years ago in the garage of the late Mr and Mrs. Bindapersad which was situated in Battersea Avenue Reservoir Hills.  Service was conducted in this garage for many years. Later service was conducted at Durwest Primary School for many years. The late Mrs. Bindapersad and Pt. C Padarath taught Hindi here in the afternoon.  The late Mrs. Polly Bharat Singh taught the children music. Due to a lack of a permanent premises in the form of a temple, service continued at the school for many years.  Later, the Mundal was allowed to conduct satang’s in the shrine area of the Reservoir Hills Seva Samaj, Battersea Avenue. The current President was the secretary for many years. Presently membership stands at about seventeen.  Services are held every Tuesday from 18:30 to 19:30 at the Seva Samaj Shrine area.  Furthermore all the main religious festivals are observed. The Arya Mithra Mundal also adopted the Cheshire Homes for charity purposes.

All are welcomed and are encouraged to join the Samaj for Satsang or partake in our Community Seva Initiatives. The Mundal will always endeavour to promote Vedic Dharma for the well – being of all of mankind
