By the decade of the 1970’s the Veda Niketan a standing committee of the Arya Samaj had established graded examinations in Hinduism with textbooks and examinations successfully reaching not just South Africans but also Arya Samaj organisations in Mauritius, Fiji, U.S.A., Canada, West Indies, U.K., Ghana, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
