NARAIN JEAWON VEDIC CENTRE

The primary goal of the NJVC is the upliftment and promotion of the community members in the area of Kenville by promoting and cultivating social cohesion between cultures and the shared values between us. We are in partnership with the eThekwini Municipality and UKZN through which the NJVC now provides services such as Audiology, Optometry, Occupational Therapy, Dental Therapy and General Medical services. We service a population group of well over 30 000 people on a daily basis with all these basic services.

The NJVC Committee is solely in charge of the running of the NJVC building based in Kenville. These duties include general repairs, safety and maintenance of the building, negotiating and ensuring sustainable partnerships between all the stakeholders providing services on the premises and finally managing the finances exchanged as a result of a normal course of operations.

As the NJVC committee we are determined to develop the  building into a beacon of hope and now with Swami Maitreyi as a permanent resident in the centre, we hope to see further development of all the members of the community. The NJVC is truly a landmark in the community and continued support from individuals to business is vital for the sustainability and thrive ability of such a project
